It is hard to tell how perfectly the cans remove noise,but this is exactly the purpose for which they were designed, and they hav EU certification, so it seems a reasonable punt.

Mads and I are good for wedding gig on 2 sept

According to the calendar, we are playing 303 that night. Is this so? We can make both, in any case. What are the details of the Wedding? Need to organise transport/babysitting.

Bought a new mouthpiece today

Penenticci. Very nice- will restrain myself from using it until after tonight's gig. Mads got her Baritone horn serviced, too- lovely smooth valves, and sounds better, too. Saw a Mellophone for the first time- cross between a french horn and a flugelhorn, with piston valves. Wonder what it souds like?

Tzigas at bar open! Always fun. Bubba Gene is being minded by the lovely Josephine, soundcheck at 9ish. Must remember 9 V batteries for Mad's pre-amp. First set starts 10:30 ish.

Tzigas resources

So, a rehersal tomorrow. Will post stuff as I create it, but Tzigani should look at the 'Tzigas resources' link to the right. Mads and I have chopped ourselves trying to get 9/8 happening at 250 bpm. Sounds okay, but not sure how stable it will be with the tune on top.
